Privacy Policy
How Certiva collects, uses, and protects your information.
Last updated: September 2026
What we collect
When you create an account we store your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. When you buy a practice test we store the order id, exam purchased, amount, and payment status — never your full card or UPI details. When you take a practice test we store your answers, score, and timing so your dashboard can show progress and history.
Cookies
Certiva uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and a guest cookie so free practice works without an account. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Third parties we share data with
Payments are processed by Razorpay and PayPal — Certiva never sees or stores your card, UPI, or bank details, only the payment status they report back. Our infrastructure (hosting, file storage) runs on Vercel. We do not sell learner data to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the data linked to your account, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, by writing to contact. We will confirm within a reasonable time. Deleting your account removes your profile and attempt history; records required for tax or payment-dispute purposes may be retained as required by law.
Data retention
We keep account and purchase data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to resolve payment disputes and meet accounting obligations.
Children
Certiva is intended for learners preparing for professional certifications and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above. Continued use of Certiva after a change means you accept the updated policy.
